Workshop
Intro to algorithmic management systems
Monitoring systems are in sharp demand. Learn what workers should demand to protect their human rights.
Prerequisite
To get the most from this workshop, it is recommended that your organization has already familiarised itself with the fundamental knowledge shared in the introductory workshop: “What’s all this about digitisation?”
Get to know algorithmic management systems
Algorithmic management systems (AMS) — what are they? And what effects are they having on workers? Following up on the first workshop, this workshop zooms in on the algorithmic management systems that management uses to control and monitor workers. It will unwrap where the sticky points are so you know what to demand from management.
Use technology to benefit workers
This workshop will help you understand how algorithmic management systems (AMS) work. Knowing how they work, and being able to dissect them to find the root of harms caused, you will be in a position to put your demands forward so these technologies benefit workers rather than the opposite.
